Z Systems is in its final stages of development for version 2.2 of LiveWire and requests that if anyone has any last minute suggestions or bugs to report, please submit these now. LiveWire 2.2 is scheduled to be released very soon.

It would be nice to be able to open .out files directly or at least be able to view all file types and I can just select the files I need.

Thanks for the suggestion!

You'll be glad to know that this issue is being addressed in version 2.2. Various people have asked for this support. Currently the idea of providing users with an "All Files (*.*)" view/support could result in a lot of grief for the users, particular the ones new to the application. What we decided to do was provide direct support for the importation of the "*.out" files. This way we can protect the user from themselves, at least to some degree. This support will be quite similar to the "*.txt" import support.
